Patricia began her work in the mental health field in 2003. She has developed a passion and commitment to helping people heal and connect to themselves, realize the strengths gained throughout challenges, and create the lives they wish to live. She offers effective and compassionate evidence-based approaches in working with individuals, couples, and families through many life challenges.
Patricia uses a purposeful, integrated approach in providing care to best meet the needs of her clients. Some approaches she uses are emotion-focused therapy, somatic-focused therapy, attachment in psychotherapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, triphasic therapy for trauma and complex trauma, trauma-informed emotion focused couple therapy, attachment-based family therapy, and more. The application of neural pathways (in neuropsychology) is a favorite that she uses in providing psychoeducation and motivation to her clients. Patricia works with trauma, complex trauma, relationship difficulties, stress management, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, anger, dissociation, supports substance recovery, self-harm, and suicidality.
